Hugo Boss celebrates Michael Jackson with a re-edition of his legendary white suit

In parallel with the exhibition “Michael Jackson: On the Wall”, from November 23rd to February 14th 2019 at the Grand Palais, Hugo Boss is re-releasing Michael Jackson’s iconic white suit, as worn on the cover of his “Thriller” album, the highest selling record of all time. A capsule collection that's completed with a few unisex pieces featuring the figure of the king of pop.

Sequinned jackets, waxed loafers and white socks, and even military jackets… Among the iconic pieces worn by Michael Jackson, we all remember the immaculate white suit, seen on the cover of Thriller in 1982, one of the highest selling albums of all time. With its dandy allure, the king of pop’s timeless get-up made by Hugo Boss is now available once more. The German label is re-releasing the iconic white suit in a limited edition run of 100 numbered issues to coincide with the exhibition, Michael Jackson : On the Wall, running from November 23rdthrough to February 14th 2019 at the Grand Palais.

To complete this ultra-limited collection, Hugo Boss has also created three unisex cotton t-shirts with a sleek understated design: black and white pieces featuring silhouettes or portraits of the singer. To make these t-shirts, the house collaborated with  British artist Graham Dolphin, well-known for his reconstructions of public shrines made by fans as memorials to dead rock stars. Graham Dolphin pays particular attention to the Thriller album cover integrating declarations made by die-hard Michael fans.

The collection will be available in a selection of HUGO BOSS boutiques from mid-November 2018.
