The madness of Vivienne Westwood as seen by Juergen Teller in 258 pages

The English designer, her husband and the German photographer celebrate 10 years of friendship and their raw, punk and iconoclastic images with a book.

Ringing with truth, the trio formed by the punkiest of designers, her husband and the most disconcerting photographer of his generation, is undoubtedly one of the longest and most prolific collaborations in the fashion world. The ad campaigns conceived by Vivienne Westwood, Andreas Kronthaler and Juergen Teller are as provocative as they are fascinating not only because they perfectly reflect the iconoclastic punk vision of Westwood, but also because the trash aesthetic of photographer is at its peak.

Last September at the opening of the new Vivienne Westwood boutique in New York, the infernal trio exhibited a wide selection of photos from the archives, now united in a book. Like a mad family album, the book shows the designer couple accompanied by Pamela Anderson as an eco-muse, Kate Moss as an underground muse and plenty of other models clad head to toe in Vivienne Westwood whipping up a storm in salacious poses.
