The house of Balenciaga has unveiled a collection of lifestyle and decorative objects. From patchwork sofas to punky dog bowls, Numéro has selected five unusual items.
A bin bag, a teddy bear, or a bag of Lays crisps stamped with the Balenciaga logo… Demna’s fascination with the banality of everyday objects is no longer a secret. Pushing the boundaries of luxury ever further, the man who made his name with the iconoclastic Vetements label launched the first lifestyle collection in 2020, soberly entitled Balenciaga Objects. This winter, the house has unveiled new items, as unusual as ever. Numéro has selected five of them.

Including a knife, a fork, and a spoon, this luxury box claims that it is time to have lunch, with style though.
3. Balenciaga’s cushion hood to travel with a brand label on you
Nothing better to avoid jetlag than this new Balenciaga unidentified object. With this hybrid piece, somewhere between a travel cushion and a hood, Demna has established his visionary character, going so far as designing a new essential for globetrotters. This black hooded cushion is the perfect addition to a comfortable look including a tracksuit, a tee-shirt, and trainers. You can complete the look with the sleep mask adorned with the Balenciaga logo.
4. Balenciaga’s decorations for a streetwear-style Christmas tree
Hanging up Christmas decorations bearing the effigy of iconic Balenciaga pieces hoping to find them under the tree is now possible with these baubles designed by the house. As the festive season approaches, we are swapping the traditional reindeer and candy canes for these attractive fashion accessories, from the flashy pink caps and fluorescent green glasses to the emblematic Cagole boots.

Who has never dreamed of lounging on a Balenciaga cloud next to the fireplace during winter? Demna has made our dream come true. This fluffy sofa is a patchwork of piled up plaids, one of which is decorated with the iconic Balenciaga logo. It is an original creation made by Dutch artist Tejo Remy, known for his upcycled furniture designs. Available in three sizes, it becomes the centerpiece of any interior, turning its lucky owner into a modern-day Princess and The Pea just for a nap.
