The Folderol x Café Kitsuné collaboration
For trendy frozen treats, Café Kitsuné has teamed up with the Parisian brand Folderol to offer some of the best ice creams in Paris for summer 2025. On the menu: classic flavours like chocolate and vanilla, a red berry sorbet, and a sesame ice cream with a smooth, enveloping taste. It’s all there. The cherry on top? Each scoop is crowned with a little dark chocolate fox — the symbol of Maison Kitsuné — adding an extra touch of sweetness.
Our obsession? The matcha ice cream, a signature flavour at Café Kitsuné since its creation in 2014. Harvested in Kagoshima and Uji, Japan, this famous green tea powder offers an exceptionally intense sensory journey.

The best soft-serve ice cream in Paris is at Chez Grave
While wandering through the Marais, one cannot resist to make a stop by Chez Grave. This stylist, discreet coffee shop is consider by many as the best spot for a soft-serve ice cream in Paris. Behind the counter is Romain Détriché, a former fashion designer for Courrèges and Rabanne turned pastry chef. With him, his business partner Nicolas Papadato, who come up with bold, ultra-refreshing flavors, like the Matcha, Coconut Water, and Activated Charcoal combo. A true frozen shock for the summer. To enjoy in the shade, seating down on a bistro stool, surrounded by a décor imagined by architect Laetitia Faburel, where Art Deco sconces meet raw benches. Bonus? An impeccable drink menu, from the classic iced latte to the surprising sesame latte.
Our obsession? The Matcha Italian ice cream, served in its metal bowl on the spot.

A trip down memory lane at À la Mère de Famille
It’s no secret that the oldest chocolate store in the capital, À la Mère de Famille, founded in 1761, is a beloved Parisian institution. This summer, the brand takes a (temporary) break from chocolate to shine a light on fruits. New flavours of the famous Le Papino ice lolly are available. Exclusively made from water and French fruits, such as white peaches from the Rhône Valley or mirabelle plums from Lorraine, these creations are both wholesome and refined.
Our obsession? Among the four new flavours, Le Papino Mara des Bois is by far our favourite. Ultra-refreshing, delicately sweet, and juicy… It’s simply perfect.
Where? At the iconic shop located at 35 rue du Faubourg Montmartre, Paris 9th. Also available in the 15 other À la Mère de Famille chocolate shops scattered throughout the capital.
