American street food at Sonny’s Pizza and Sonny’s Deli
Opened in 2019, Sonny’s Pizza and its New York-style slices quickly became a must-go place for lovers of American street food. Just a few months later, Sonny’s Deli opened across the street, another place devoted to sandwiches. Regarding the pizzas, the menu features some bold creations like the Meatballs, Vodka Sauce, or Jerk. As for the sandwiches, you can try the tasty Chopped Cheese or Chicken Parm. To wash it all down, house-made iced teas and spot-on margaritas will quench your thirst.
Sonny’s Pizza, Sonny’s Deli, 4 and 5 Rue de la Fontaine au Roi, 75011 Paris. No reservation needed.

Dumbo, the gourmet smash burger
In 2019, Dumbo opened with a clear mission: to bring fast food back to its former glory. In Pigalle, their smash burgers quickly made waves. Dry-aged, crispy beef, light brioche potato bun, Heinz ketchup, melting cheese… The recipe is simple, effective, and on point. The success was instant. In the Marais, burgers fly off the grill all day long in an open kitchen. With its combination between culinary precision and a down-to-earth vibe, Dumbo has set a new rules on the Parisian food scene. Here, the burger is treated with the same rigour as a chef’s creation, without losing what makes it great: simplicity, taste, and rapidity.

Cortado, the Spanish-style street food
This tiny café, located just across from the legendary sandwich spot Alain Miam Miam, offers the perfect fusion of coffee shop and tapas bar. And honestly, we wonder why no one thought of it sooner. After all, what could be better with a latte or matcha than a pan con tomate? Especially when it’s generously drizzled with olive oil and topped with melting manchego or jamón ibérico. Why not try the hybrid version, tucked into a golden croissant? As you’ve probably guessed, Cortado isn’t afraid to push culinary boundaries. As long as it’s good and well executed, why not? In the evening, mugs are swapped for wine glasses filled with natural Spanish wine.

Rori, the New York-style pizza
Once the undisputed queen of Paris, Neapolitan pizza is now facing stiff competition from its New York cousin. And at Rori, it’s the star of the show. There, the crust is ultra-thin, delightfully crispy, and the slices spill over the plate. The menu is short and on point – six punchy, bold recipes that are not too complicated. Must-haves include the intense and creamy Cacio e Pepe, the White with lemon, and the Pepperoni with a honey drizzle that changes everything. A few side dishes round things out, like sriracha oysters, Caesar-style lettuce hearts, grilled broccolini with garlic and chili. To drink, it’s all about New York-inspired cocktails or grower wines. The vibe? Chic without the fuss, the classic Brooklyn spirit.

Janet, the deli made in Paris
Janet, the Paris deli on everyone’s lips, has just unveiled a brand new menu that blends beloved classics with bold new creations. The staples, such as the pastrami sandwich and hot dog, are still available and joined by some unexpected newcomers. There’s something to please both regulars and curious customers. You can now customize your sandwich with a large choice of bread – homemade brioche, rye, bun, and even a gluten-free option. Staying true to the Janet spirit, this refreshed menu is generous, inventive, and unapologetically gourmet. Add to that some dishes to share like an XXL Caesar salad or a melt-in-your-mouth beef carpaccio that will satisfy any appetite. And with the renowned skills of Moïse Sfez (winner of the world’s best lobster roll in 2018), every bite promises a unique and tasty experience. In short, a feast everyone talks about about and crave.
