Chaumet unveils a new diamond cut in a minimalist jewelry collection

Chaumet unveils a new chapter in its iconic Bee My Love collection, featuring minimalist pieces inspired by bees and hive honeycombs. For the occasion, the jewelry house is also presenting its brand new spectacular diamond cut: the Empress Cut.

While Chaumet unveiled a high jewelry collection last July entitled “Torsade”, in homage to the column that overlooks the famous Place Vendôme, the house is presenting a new chapter in its collection Bee My Love, composed of pieces inspired by bees and hive cells. What characterizes this unique collection is that it features a brand new diamond cut called the Empress. A cut with a spectacular hexagonal shape, which has eighty-eight facets cut one by one by hand, and which highlights a prodigious innovation: their orientation is designed to capture as many light rays as possible and reflect them by multiplying their intensity.

Empress-cut diamonds are then endowed with an extraordinary brilliance and brilliance, much more intense than a brilliant-cut diamond. To enhance this extraordinary new diamond, Chaumet has set it on minimalist and graphic pieces, revisiting the honeycombs of the bee hive in a contemporary way. To evoke this famous motif, the jewelry house has therefore imagined a collection made of mirror-polished gold (pink, yellow or white), composed of a new solitaire set with majestic Empress-Cut diamonds, stackable rings, sleek studs and drop earrings, a minimal pendant and a lasso necklace with asymmetrical pavé.
