H&M and Stella McCartney reunite twenty years later

I am very happy to reunite with H&M, twenty years after our first collaboration. Reworking pieces from my archive has brought back so much energy and joy. This second partnership feels like a chance to reflect on how far we have come in terms of sustainability, cruelty-free practices and conscious designs; and to remain honest about how far we still have to go together,” Stella McCartney enthusiastically shared.

The keywords of her new collaboration with H&M? Sustainability, responsibility, innovation, and cruelty-free. True to her sharp, tailored silhouettes, to her values and radical vision of fashion, Stella McCartney promises to inject ethics and freedom into 2026. From the creation of an Insights Board — bringing together major figures from the fashion world — to the use of materials that are almost entirely recycled, the duo is once again pushing the boundaries a little further, driven by a strong desire to make a difference…

Pieces that reflect Stella McCartney’s fashion

A galvanizing collection, unveiled through a campaign captured by photographer Sam Rock. What stands out is the effortless way in which the H&M x Stella McCartney collaboration blurs boundaries and blends genres. There is something for everyone, from the high-cut bodysuit to the high-collared trench, the rhinestone-fringed bra, the oversized masculine suit, and even the ethereal evening gown.

As for accessories, leopard-print ballet flats sit alongside jewelry made of chunky chains, Stella McCartney’s signature. Bold printed scarves, patent leather slingbacks and numerous tote bags, available in red mesh and deep black leather, also compose this collection. “It’s playful, strong, sparkling, joyful and refined,” the designer concludes.

A collection partially unveiled at the 2025 Fashion Awards

Held on December 1st, 2025, in the heart of London, the Fashion Awards once again caused a stir. Anok Yai was named Model of the Year for the second time, and Jonathan Anderson was once again crowned Designer of the Year. Aside from those prestigious winners, top models Emily Ratajkowski and Amelia Gray truly stole the show.

But what sparked such fascination? Dressed in the new H&M x Stella McCartney collection and wearing delicate heels, the it-girls looked stunning. With their subtly sheer, satin mini-dresses flowing around their curves, paired with long, draped and perfectly fitted outfits, they embodied the spirit of a dynamic collection.

The H&M x Stella McCartney collection will be available in H&M stores and on www2.hm.com on May 7th, 2026.
