The playful and oversized wardrobe of the Comme des Garçons spring-summer 2022 collection

This Monday, October 4, 2021, Rei Kawakubo presented her spring-summer 2022 collection for her label Comme des Garçons, which includes multiple dresses, each one as oversized as the next, adorned with playful patterns and prints, such as bows and flowers bordering on kitsch. All the models also wore original headgear, resembling plastic hairpieces in pop colors, signed by British artist and set designer Gary Card. Finally, Rei Kawakubo unveiled two new sneaker models in collaboration with Salomon, taking up the design of the label’s hiking boots dating back to the 60s.
