The hybrid and experimental wardrobe of the Givenchy spring-summer 2022 collection

For Givenchy’s spring-summer 2022 collection, its artistic director Matthew Williams unveils a hybrid and experimental wardrobe, where different materials and different inspirations intertwine. It was in the heart of the La Défense Arena stadium that the parade was presented on Sunday, October 3, 2021, to a soundtrack specially produced by rapper Young Thug for the occasion. The silhouettes combine a minimalist look with a more radical style, mixing classic tailoring with more elaborate neoprene pieces, some of which take up prints from the semi-abstract work of New York artist Josh Smith.
