The deconstructed wardrobe inspired by the fishermen of the Maison Margiela spring-summer 2022 collection

Like its Fall-Winter 2021 Artisanal collection, Maison Margiela unveils a video directed by filmmaker Olivier Dahan (La Vie en Rose, Grace of Monaco) in collaboration with John Galliano, the house’s artistic director, to present its spring-summer 2022 collection. This time, the designer is inspired by fishermen of all times to imagine this wardrobe for men and women, composed of hybrid and deconstructed silhouettes, such as imposing thigh-high boots, patchwork jackets or pieces with visible seams made from faded fabrics.
