Stella McCartney celebrates the power of mushrooms in her Spring/Summer 2022 collection

While Stella McCartney has made respect for the animal world and the planet one of the founding principles of her label, the British designer reaffirms her strong convictions and commitments each season, which she always explores to the fullest. For her spring-summer 2022 collection, she then honored the mushroom, which she believes is the future of fashion, by transcribing its shape through cuts and imprinting its appearance with hand-drawn patterns on a selection of pieces. The show was also an opportunity for Stella McCartney to unveil her first-ever bag made from Mylo leather, a leather-like material made from mycelium (mushroom roots).
