Punk, seventies and craftsmanship in the first Pressiat spring-summer 2022 show

After his studies at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Vincent Garnier Pressiat cut his teeth with John Galliano at Margiela, then worked for Saint Laurent and Balmain before launching Pressiat, his own label. Last March, the young designer unveiled his very first fall-winter 2021-2022 collection virtually,  which imposed his genderless and radical vision of fashion through a wardrobe inspired by the Victorian era and the 70s. For its spring-summer 2022 collection, presented during a physical show in a Parisian club this Friday, October 1, Pressiat confirms a style combining historical references, craftsmanship, inspiration from the Punk movement and the seventies by offering sets with prints flamboyant boots, lace-up boots and oversized platforms, ultra-sexy bodysuits and dresses, or jackets with imposing shoulders.
