Deconstruction and architecture in the Rick Owens Spring/Summer 2022 collection

If the American designer Rick Owens has unveiled his last four collections on the island of Lido, off the coast of Venice — where he lives half the year — he is now back at the Palais de Tokyo to present the second opus of his “Fogachine” collection (in reference to fog machines), this time available for women. Like his spring-summer 2022 men’s collection, Rick Owens presents a deconstructed but very architectural wardrobe, composed mainly of skirts and dresses, some of which have oversized shoulders and geometric cuts.
