Bottega Veneta pays homage to the city of Detroit with its spring-summer 2022 collection

After contrasting opulence with minimalism in his Salon 02 collection, Daniel Lee, artistic director of Bottega Veneta, has created a spring-summer 2022 collection in homage to the city of Detroit, a city in the American Midwest with a rich industrial past. Entitled Salon 03, this new men’s and women’s wardrobe was presented in Detroit, and pays tribute to the American metropolis that contributed, at the beginning of the twentieth century, to the development of the automotive industry, as well as to its creative minds. This collection with graphic lines is composed of silhouettes mixing sportswear and workwear, sometimes including technical materials as well as metallic threads, echoing the industry and engineering of the inhabitants of Detroit. For the occasion, Bottega Veneta has also taken over a space in the heart of the city to highlight the work of local artists and designers.
