For one of the five covers of Numéro 259, the stunning model Bhavitha Mandava, who opened the Chanel Métiers d’art show designed by Matthieu Blazy last December, is seen through the lens of photographer Agata Serge. The sublime Summer Dirx, dressed head-to-toe in Dior, is also one of our cover stars, photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.

In the February 2026 issue, Franco-Swiss actress Ella Rumpf also strikes the pose for Numéro. In 2016, she made a remarkable on-screen debut in Raw, Julia Ducournau‘s standout feature film. Awarded the César for Best Female Revelation in 2024, she now dazzles in Alice Winocour‘s highly anticipated feature Couture, thus further cementing her status as one of the most captivating stars of European cinema.

Appointed creative director at Balenciaga in 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli presented his new vision for the fashion house last fall. True to his poetic sense of elegance, he revamped the formal and sculptural boldness of founder Cristóbal Balenciaga through a Spring/Summer 2026 collection blending sophistication and ease. The Roman designer shares his philosophy with Numéro, a vision in which couture becomes a language of the heart that goes far beyond clothing to stir emotion and create magic.

Numéro 259 also dives into the fascinating career of photographer Lee Miller. Born in 1907, she started out as a model and Man Ray‘s muse, before becoming a photographer. Throughout her life, she continually reinvented herself, driven by an insatiable thirst for discovery. Starting in April, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris will dedicate a compelling retrospective to her, tracing her many lives and transformations, from the surrealist artist to the war correspondent.

Also featured in this February issue… An interview with singer Sam Quealy, a candid conversation with the iconic Sébastien Tellier, the third album from rising star Adèle Castillon, the first solo exhibition by artist Luna Mahoux, and actor Harris Dickinson‘s moving directorial debut Urchin.

As always, this issue includes fashion editorials by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Agata Serge, Matt Easton, Edgar Berg, Mélissa de Araujo, Natasha Kot, and Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello.
