Sabrina Carpenter, a singer acclaimed by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus
Since her star-studded performance at Coachella 2024, Sabrina Carpenter has become the new social media sensation. With her fringed mini-dress designed by Roberto Cavalli, doll-blonde hair and dizzying heels, the 25-year-old American singer-songwriter seduces us with both her looks and her hit songs.
A quick listen to her excellent new single, Espresso, will give you an idea. Unveiled on April 12th, 2024, the track was released along with a retro video in which the adored Gen Z star is playing on the beach alongside dancers in swimsuits… and anyone would fall under her spell. First considered as a potential summer hit, Espresso eventually made it into Spotify’s Top 10 worldwide a couple of days only after its release. A first for the singer, who then released her album Short n’ Sweet on August 23rd, 2024…
An artist nominated at the 2025 Grammy Awards
Yet, the new pop sensation nominated at the 2025 Grammys made her musical debuts at a very young age. She set up her YouTube channel in 2009, posting covers of famous songs when she was just 10 years old.
Influenced by Christina Aguilera and Adele, the singer with 42 million followers on Instagram even took part in the singing competition run by Miley Cyrus, The Next Miley Cyrus Project, in which she finished third…
After the release of her debut single, Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying, in 2014, an EP and five studio albums, Sabrina Carpenter was noticed by Ariana Grande, for whom she performed opening acts on the Dangerous Woman Tour in 2017. More recently, Taylor Swift has invited her to join her on The Eras Tour in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.
The actress made several appearances in a Disney series and in Orange Is The New Black
Sabrina Carpenter is as comfortable in front of the camera as she is in front of a microphone. Although music remains the mainstay of her career, the artist is making her first steps into the film industry, starting as an extra in the NBC drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011.
Like many other young celebrities, such as Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo, she joined the Disney pool of singers and actresses with the series Girl Meets World. This experience opened the door to other productions, including Horns (2013) directed by Alexandre Aja, in which she stars alongside British actor Daniel Radcliffe, and the famous series Orange Is The New Black.
Another link with the cinema industry? Sabrina Carpenter is in a relationship with Irish actor Barry Keoghan (Saltburn), the two of them now forming one of the power couples of the moment.
Givenchy, Rabanne, Skims… Sabrina Carpenter is on her way to become a fashion icon
Whether she is on the red carpet of the Met Gala, on stage, on social media or in the street, Sabrina Carpenter looks like a 2.0 version of Barbie. Her image has been a crucial aspect of her career since the beginning. She imagined looks that were both sexy and rock’n’roll, and dared to show her skin.
Her ultra-feminine, feline identity has won over Skims, the lingerie and shapewear brand created by Kim Kardashian in 2019. Following in the footsteps of Rosalía, Kate Moss and Lana Del Rey, Sabrina Carpenter joined the clan of Skims muses in April 2024 with a sultry campaign in which she appears wearing a thin, bubblegum pink lingerie ensemble, kneeling down in a teenage bedroom holding a phone in her hand. A flirty little bow in her hair enhances the whole look.
Recently, the young star has also been a regular of the front rows of fashion shows during the Fashion Weeks, from Louis Vuitton to Givenchy, Loewe, Schiaparelli or Rabanne. A fashion icon in the making…
