Nicole Kidman accused of murder on OCS

With the second season of “Big Little Lies” having concluded last summer, Nicole Kidman is back with a vengeance in the trailer for “The Undoing”, a new HBO miniseries directed by Susanne Bier. The six episodes will be available on OCS City from May 10th this year.

Inspired by the novel You Should Have Known by writer Jean Hanff Korelitz, the new HBO series focuses on Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman), a therapist living in New York with her devoted husband Jonathan Fraser (played by Hugh Grant) and their 12-year old son (Noah Jupe). Grace's daily life is suddenly turned upside down when a violent murder takes place and a woman mysteriously disappears…

If the pitch slightly echoes that of the brilliant series Big Little Lies, it’s partly because The Undoing and the former share the same screenwriter, David E. Kelley – also author of the series Ally McBealLife on Mars and The Crazy Ones. Directed by Susanne Bier (famous for her drama Bird Box, released in 2018), the series once again confirms David E. Kelley’s talent for writing complex and exciting female roles, around which all the stories revolve.

The Undoing brings together a top class cast: alongside Nicole Kidman (who we can also currently rediscover on OCS with her magnificent performance in Dogville by Lars Von Trier), we’ve got Hugh Grant – recently topping the bill in Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen –, Donald Sutterland (The Hunger GamesPride & Prejudice), Edgar Ramirez (The assassination of Gianni Versace : American Crime Story) and Lily Rabe, seen in American Horror Story.
