Famous for her appearances in Divergent, the X-Men and Fantastic Beasts – where she plays Leta Lestrange, a mysterious concealing witch – the model and muse Yves Saint-Laurent is no stranger to impressive blockbusters. However, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonnet has also played  in both melodramatic thrillers and romantic comedies. 1. Zoë Kravitz as a hippie yoga teacher in Big Little Lies

 

Alongside Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz played one of the “Monterrey Five” in the hit series Big Little Lies. In a wealthy California town, five women become friends through their respective children. A few months later, they find themselves in the middle of a tragic accident at school. In the midst of the secrets, rumors and lies that animate the whole neighborhood, Zoë Kravitz plays Bonnie Carlson, a yoga teacher who is a bit hippie, who hides many mysteries. With her long floral dresses and stacks of necklaces, the rather discreet sportswoman prefers to stay away from gossip. 

2.  Zoë Kravitz as a popular high school student in Dope 

 

90s, Inglemood. In this red-light district of Los Angeles, Malcolm is a high school student who is a fan of hip-hop without any problems. At school, he is considered a geek who is not appreciated by his classmates except for his two friends Diggy and Jibs. With them, he juggles music, studies and interviews to get into university until the day he is invited to an underground party. The young boy then tries to seize his chance to become a cool guy, even if it means trafficking in ecstasy. In this atmosphere high schoolZoë Kravitz plays Nakia, one of the most popular girls in high school – the ultra-glamorous girlfriend of a drug dealer –  whom Malcolm keeps crossing paths with.

3. Zoë Kravitz as the sassy girlfriend in Worst Night

 

In Miami, a group of friends decides to celebrate the bachelorette party of one of them with great pomp. Alongside Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell and Ilana Glazer, Zoë Kravitz plays Blair, the most sassy of the bunch. For this exceptional evening, the five ultra-glamorous girls take over a nightclub. After hours of dancing on the dance floor while drinking a phenomenal amount of shots, they decide to invite a stripper to their home. Stoned on cocaine, the five girls are having a great time… until the young man suddenly dies. By resorting to the most eccentric and funny stratagems, the friends try to get rid of the body without notifying anyone.

4.  Zoë Kravitz as a murdered starlet in Gemini

 

In this thriller with a Mullholland Drive feel, Zoë Kravitz plays a wealthy Hollywood starlet named Heather Anderson. In Los Angeles,  the insolent actress, as adored as she is hated and constantly assailed by her fans whom she disdains,  rubs shoulders with madness. During a monster party in her huge villa,  the diva is found murdered by a gunshot wound. Suspected of homicide, the star’s personal assistant, played by Lola Kirke, tries to solve the murder by attacking her own demons…

5. Zoë Kravitz as a teenager who is uncomfortable in her own skin in The Road Within

 

In this comedy-drama by Gren Wells, Zoë Kravitz plays Marie, an anorexic who is uncomfortable in her own skin and is committed to a psychiatric hospital. With a thin face and pink hair slicked back, the actress is unrecognizable. She befriends a young boy named Vincent, who has Tourette’s syndrome, with whom she falls in love. Together, they decide to run away from the clinic to see the ocean. Thus begins a most astonishing road movie.
