What does Matthew McConaughey’s autobiography have in store for us?

Legendary American actor Matthew McConaughey will publish his autobiography Greenlights: your Journal, your Journey in 2021.One after his previous book Greenlights where he revealed the sexual assault he suffered at the age of fifteen, his new book testifies to the great wisdom of this man with an extraordinary career. 

Revealed in 1993 by Richard Linklater’s famous Dazed and Confused, Matthew McConaughey is an actor adored by Hollywood as well as by the entire planet. With Amistad (1997) by Steven Spielberg, The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Martin Scorsese and Interstellar (2014) by Christopher Nolan, Matthew McConaughey has never stopped acting under the eye of  the cameras of the greatest directors. In 2013, he was awarded the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in the film Dallas Buyers Club  (2013) where he played, unrecognizable, an HIV-positive cowboy who had only a few months to live.

 

After his first book Greenlights (2020),  which was a resounding success, in which the actor talked about a sexual assault he suffered at the age of fifteen, he published Greenlights: your Journal, your Journey. In this new book, the actor with an impressive career delivers his teachings as well as his wise advice. Since the age of fifteen, Matthew McConaughey has transcribed his adventures and travels in his many notebooks,Throughout  the pages, he invites his readers to introspection thanks to a message of great wisdom. Born in Texas in 1969, Matthew McConaughey left his country at the age of 18 for Australia. Now famous, his filming allows him to travel the world, from Mali to Peru. This book , rich in lessons, thus testifies to the immense experience of this man,  with an extraordinary career,  who has overcome many trials.
