Crazy Horse: a parisian cabaret like no other
Since its founding in 1951 by Alain Bernardin, the Crazy Horse has established itself as a temple of exalted femininity, at the crossroads of live performance and artistic installation. Located on Avenue George V, the Parisian cabaret has been distinguished from its earliest days by a radical visual aesthetic: kaleidoscopic projections, sophisticated shadow play, and meticulous choreography where the Crazy Girls, the main performers, become living sculptures.
Their minimalist costumes and irreverent take on the times made the venue a singular stage within the French cultural landscape, attracting both global celebrities and avant-garde artists eager to push boundaries.
A glamorous, committed soundtrack etched on vinyl
For the first time, Crazy Horse marries its visual universe with the grooves of a vinyl record. Inspired by the show Totally Crazy, the institution now offers an auditory glimpse into its most iconic tableaux. Among them, Vertiges, a brand-new tableau created by singer and producer Sevdaliza, radiates a deep, mesmerizing sensuality.
Known for her futuristic and thought-provoking aesthetic, the Iranian-Dutch artist extends her exploration of the female body and its representations through this collaboration. Alongside her, the vinyl also features cult tracks like You Turn Me On and Baby Buns , sonic emblems of a cabaret where elegance is always laced with irreverence.
Available for €30 at the cabaret’s official boutique, this vinyl crystallizes the spirit of Crazy Horse: a space of absolute artistic freedom, bridging modernity and tradition. More than just a musical object, it is an invitation to extend the experience of the show, capturing its vibrant energy and sharp gaze on femininity.
Vinyl available at the Crazy Horse Paris boutique, 12 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris.
