Chris Pratt’s alien-slaughter fest in a new film on Amazon Prime
Two years after “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star is back on the big screen in an action movie airing on Amazon Prime from July 2nd.
While waiting to see him again in the third instalments of Thor (Thor: Love and Thunder, set for release in 2022) and Guardians of the Galaxy (in 2023), Chris Pratt is returning to the big screen in The Tomorrow War, a movie that will air directly on a platform. After a two hundred million dollar buyout by Amazon Prime (according to the American press), the film signed by Chris McKay (Lego Batman, the movie) will be available from July 2nd.
In The Tomorrow War, Chris Pratt – also credited as executive producer – plays a warrior who leads a gang charged with saving the world. The futuristic film tells the story of the end of the human era in thirty years’ time, and the struggle of the soldiers who are sent into the future to exterminate the aliens threatening the planet.
The Tomorrow War (2021) by Chris McKay, with Chris Pratt and Yvonne Strahovski, available from July 2nd on Amazon Prime.
