The Garden is an interactive installation in which each visitor can perform an act of destruction, within a glass room, on immaculate white furniture stereotypical of the futuristic modern designs of “the civilised man”. The glass box is surrounded by an artificial jungle, located in the heart of an enormous warehouse plunged into darkness. Created by the artist Doug Aitken, this installation is part of a “land art” triptych that features two other big scale installations, one at the Coachella festival and the other at the Art BaselContemporary Art Fair.
