The day ORLAN underwent plastic surgery for the fourth time

On 8 November 1991, the countdown began for French artist ORLAN: exactly one month to go before she underwent voluntary plastic surgery for the fourth time. As with all eight operations she would ultimately undertake, it was done in the name of art, and was given a title: this one was called “Opération Réussie”.
