Louis Vuitton’s “Objets Nomades” on show in Milan

The 2017 “Salone del Mobile”, a celebration of designer furniture, is hosting ten new pieces from the Louis Vuitton “Objets Nomades” collection. A selection of travel pieces imagined by different designers from around the world, from Maarten Baas to Patricia Urquiola.

The “Objets Nomades” collection, launched in 2012 by the house of Louis Vuitton has made travelling into a veritable art form. Through 25 exceptional pieces conceived by big design names – Atelier Oï, Maarten Baas, Barber and Osgerby, the Campana brothers, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Nendo, Gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders – Louis Vuitton perpetuates its tradition of celebrating the art of travel with a more contemporary vision. Ten of these pieces will be unveiled at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, introducing two new artists, the designer India Mahdavi and artist Tokujin Yoshioka.
