Thomas Houseago: behind the scenes of his exhibition in Paris

Since first breaking through in the 1990s, Yorkshire-born Thomas Houseago has become one of the most celebrated figurative sculptors working on the contemporary scene today. On the eve of his first retrospective in France, at the musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, American writer Evgenia Citkowitz caught up with him in his Los Angeles studio.
