Winter essentials can be found at Lemaire

Among the most coveted labels of the moment, Lemaire stands out. Widely acclaimed for its timeless pieces and flawless cuts, the label unveiled a strikingly effective Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.

  • The Lemaire show, a small stage for everyday life

Just like an increasing number of brands over the past seasons, Lemaire staged its runway show. Recreating the atmosphere of a concert or a play, the audience was seated in rows. In front of them, a series of garments unfolded, each look threading into a narrative meticulously crafted backstage. For its Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection, the Parisian label chose the Opéra Bastille as its setting. The place was enhanced by a simple, yet imposing blue-grey velvet curtain.

One by one, the models slipped through the openings, pushing aside the heavy fabric to step on stage. Their movements contrasted with the lightness and fluidity of the clothes. As if wandering through a crowded Parisian street, the silhouettes strolled, glanced around, and occasionally paused, in a hypnotic choreography imagined by Nathalie Béasse.

At times, four models made their entrance at once. Then, some stood alone or walked through the crowd… It all unfolded like a small theatre of everyday life. A strong reminder of how deeply Lemaire’s garments are rooted in today’s reality. The brand’s timeless pieces win over an international clientele eager to embrace that Parisian je-ne-sais-quoi – chic and simple, yet very effective. It’s the signature of an independent brand now generating over €100 million in annual revenue.

    An ultra-desirable Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection

On social media, the perfect cut of its coats and trousers, the fluid and comfortable fabrics of its shirts and sweaters have made the brand go viral. Especially since simple pieces, like a plain white T-shirt, have become trendsetters. More desirable than ever, the French label unveils a Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection that remains true to its core identity, while expanding its wardrobe essentials. Coats come with thin belt – the peak of elegance – while shoes are either patent or covered in velvet. There is also a play on sheen, with leather-like lacquered denim, as well as a revamping of the mohair suit.

Throughout these sixty looks, Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, Lemaire’s creative duo, reaffirm their talent for reinventing wardrobe staples, like a trench, a pair of pumps, or a two-piece suit, while shaping silhouettes that feel modern and in the zeitgeist. For instance, there is this irresistible and sublime belted coat with a high collar in a buttery yellow hue. Or the vibrant combination of burgundy-red and sky-blue on a dress with cutouts on the thighs, inspired by traditional Vietnamese ao dai gowns.
